I’jaz al-Our’an in the Context of the Relation Between Miracle and Sunnatullah

In this article, it is aimed that the subject of miracle, which keeps its up-to-date in scientific circles at all times, is taken into consideration in relation to the concept of Sunnatullah. In this context the matter that miraculousness of the Qur’an is aimed to be evaluated. In the article, firstly, the brief etymological analysis of the concept of miracle is given, and the methodical information is given in order to clarify the terminological frame of the concept. Then, the concept of Sunnatullah was discussed and it was emphasized how it should be understood within the framework of Qur'an by underlining the meaning shifts that the concept has undergone in the process that extends to the day. After the meaning fields of miracles and Sunnatullah were thus assessed, the relation between the two concepts was emphasized and it was tried to be emphasized how this relation has significance in understanding of these concepts. Eventually, after summarizing the approaches throughout history in regard to the miraculousness of the Qur'an, the greatest miracle of the Prophet Muhammad, it was tried to be evaluated within the framework of the relation of I’jaz al-Qur'an, in relation to miracle-Sunnatullah
