O CELPE-BRAS E OUTRAS POLíTICAS LINGUíSTICAS BRASILEIRAS PELA PROMO O DO PORTUGUêS DO BRASIL (THE CELPE-BRAS AND OTHER BRAZILIAN LINGUISTICS POLICIES FOR PROMOTION OF BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE )

With the globalization, the language gains prominence in association of countries that seek to ensure economic and social improvements. The language can guarantee prestige and power, but of same way that a particular language can assert more than other, their speakers may gain or lose with it. In intention of exploit the economic value of languages, those countries are investing in their valorization and expansion. We propose to observe, in this article, as the Brazil participates in this new political and economic context, integrating in the world the Brazilian Portuguese as a "Transnational Language”.
