Memórias do Cárcere and Em Liberdade by Silviano Santiago, as well as the process of relationship of the different speeches between these texts – memory and fiction –, such process is legitimated by the mutual textual theory which references the palimpsest path followed by Silvano as he “appropriates himself of the neighbors memory” over passing it in a fictional text, conjoining memory and imagination.
