Research Progress of Bifurcation Behavior of Solid Film Subjected to Stretch
|
Abstract:
Film materials are widely applied in various fields. Flexible electronic products have a lot of thin film components and film connecting wires, which may be stretched, curled and folded repeatedly in the course of use. Fracture failure and interfacial damage of thin film components during stretching are important factors to restrict their wider application. Mechanical properties of film components directly affect product quality and service life of products. It is vital important for solid film components to research its deformation and fracture failure due to stretching. In this paper, domestic and foreign research progress of bifurcation behaviour of solid film subjected to stretching is summarized from theoretical, experimental and numerical aspect, repectively. Finally, some unanswered problems of mechanical behaviour of film subjected to stretching are proposed in this paper.
