Comunidades "no sentido social da evangeliza？？o": CEBs, camponeses e quilombolas na Amaz？nia Oriental Brasileira

the study about new ecclesial movements in the roman catholic church, in oriental brazilian amazon, has allowed a reflection on the influence of that church in two rural areas of the state of pará: the transamaz？nica highway and the tomé a？u micro-region. in both, the so-called ecclesial base communities, very active, play important role between the populations of these areas. the article proposes to examine the social condition of those people who, according to their experiences and practices, incorporating critically the influence of pastoral agents, take on new identities, and new political and religious practices, not present before in their territory.
