EVALUACIóN AUTOMáTICA DE COHERENCIA TEXTUAL EN NOTICIAS POLICIALES UTILIZANDO ANáLISIS SEMáNTICO LATENTE

this article presents the results of an investigation that aimed to assess textual coherence automatically, using the method of latent semantic analysis in the domain formed by police news. for this purpose, a prototype tool was built using only free software, which can be obtained from the internet. to validate the performance of the prototype, its evaluation was compared with that made by eight human evaluators: four journalists and four spanish’s teachers with graduate studies in linguistics.
