LéXICO DEL COLOR EN SANTIAGO DE CHILE

this work attempts to ascertain the structure of the vocabulary for color terms from a sample of santiaguinos, stratified by age, gender and sociocultural level. the methodology utilized is centers of interest and calculus of the lexical availability index of the proyecto panhispánico de disponibilidad léxica. linguistic categorization for color has been examined by linguists, anthropologists, etnolinguists and psycholinguists. the present analysis utilizes the outcomes of these studies. the goal of this paper, besides the quantity and quality of the elicited color terms, is to establish the associative ressources exploited by the subjects to respond to a given stimulus.
