Medos infantis, cidade e violência: express？es em diferentes classes sociais

the objective is to illustrate children’s expressions of fear, as far as social classes are concerned. based on a research conducted in three schools in the southern area of ？？rio de janeiro, we show the effects of violence on children’s subjective productions. using their drawings as a tool of analysis, we enhance the different productions of children belonging to different social classes as far as fear is concerned. we seek also to emphasize the role of media as a powerful agent in the production of subjectivity, encouraging a culture of fear.
