the evolution of the main economic aggregates incolombiaduring 2010 allows assuming that the crisis of 2008-2009 has faded and that the economy begins its transition into a phase of recovery and expansion. however, economy's health in the years to come will also be explained by a series of internal and external phenomena and by the overcoming of important challenges, such as the mining boom, the reduction of unemployment and the stability of the exchange rate. this paper analyzes the economic facts that explain the evolution of the main macroeconomic aggregates during 2010, and the challenges and forecasts 2011 hold.
