Entre la lingüística y la filología: el análisis sintáctico-pragmático. Una mirada diacrónica a las preposiciones con y sinKeywords: preposition, variation, contexts of use, antonyms. Abstract: this article is included in a larger investigation which aims to study the use and evolution of prepositions con and sin in the history of peninsular and latin american spanish language. in addition to describing the use of prepositions in different formal and pragmatic contexts, this research has an explanatory purpose: to show the frequency of use of linguistic forms in connection with the genre and the subject of discourse. it considers, as well, the functional (partial) equivalence of con/ contra; con/ no sin, in order to delimit selection strategies, and suggests the possible study of variation of (partially) antonymic forms as a reflection of cognitive perspective.
