Writers, Taggers, Graffers y Crews: Identidades juveniles en torno al grafiteo

this article analyses the constitution of the graffiti youth identity and its manifestation in global-local space. from symbolic, discursive and value elements, i show adaptations and recreations of this youth practice which link them to the global graffiti community. youth diversity that involves graffiti practice and its way of acting in social space are shown here to explain the complexity of youth identity in an urban context of the global economy as is mexico city.
