the aim of the paper is to present some anthropological reflections on the parade on may 5 in the city of puebla, which is held annually by one of the main avenues of the city. the event we're considering it as a ritual act, since it developed a series of events such liturgical refers to mythical elements and a series of expressions of dramatic and theatrical, all civic type. moreover, the act mentioned is one of the most significant moments for puebla society.
