Una aproximación crítica a la dicotomía tangible/intangible en el abordaje del patrimonio cultural desde las nuevas perspectivas del folklore

this paper compares current approaches to the study of cultural heritage preservation with those developed by the folklore discipline throughout its history. basing on the concept of "performance", put forward by the so called "new perspectives in folklore", this article puts into question the tangible/intangible dichotomy widespread in cultural heritage literature. this paper also suggests a methodological tool for the recording, documentation and analysis of cultural heritage expressions.
