Siglo XX

the 20th century is characterized by a wide profusion of movements and ideas; it turns out difficult to determine paradigms and examples to conceptually unify interior spaces of that period. on the other hand, the link of this century with sacred art suffers important changes. it is ordained by three key moments based on the history of mentalities and reigning aesthetics. during the first years the modernist spirit prevails; in a second term rationalistic character appears as a base of all operations and ways of thinking; and finally, postmodern design is an indicator of a new preponderant ideology for the last decades of 20th century and dawn of 21st. among these three moments, modern rationalistic movement is outlined by the emblematic le corbusier whose thought officiates as a hinge of design productions for the last times.
