Epilepsia tardía: Cisticercosis

with the name of late epilepsy-cisticercosis, we have tried to know the seroprevalence on this illness in convulsive patients who go for consultation to the main hospitals in san salvador de jujuy. we have be also tried to locate to region from where this patients come from and to point out the concomitance with other pathologies (alcoholism, mental deficiencies, etc.). the research is descriptive, the samples are occasional (1994-1996). we have located the regions where this people come from; most of them migrate for job reasons. the diagnosis are varied. we have suggested measures to be carried out. bibliography: mostly latin-american writers and worldwide.
