Test experimental de flotacion aplicado en sitios arqueologicos de Campo del Pucará

the purpose of this work is to discern through an experimental test the confidence of the flotation device used for the recovery of large archaeobotanic remains of the archaeological sites in campo del pucara (andalgalá, catamarca, argentina). to make this test sterile sedimentary samples at different levels of an anthropic mound were selected. three kind of seeds were added, chosen for their size: poppy (papaver somniferum), broccoli (brassica oleracea) and bean (phaseolus vulgaris). the obtained rates were 100 % for bean, 94,4 % for broccoli and 76,2 % for poppy.to conclude a valuation of the results and of the posibility to apply them in the recovery of archaeological samples is done.
