the performance of a commercial immune assay in the identification antibody of natural infection or vaccination against bovine herpesvirus type 1 (bhv-1) in 1000 samples of bovine serum was evaluated. the comparative analysis from the result of the evaluated system and standard serum neutralization technique showed a rate of agreement of 97.05% (k=0.94) between the two serologic diagnotic methods.
