Abstract: the rock art works (petrogliphs) that are analized here, found in the san juan valley river, are emplaced at the north canyons of the pie de palo mountain range, at s 31o20' and w 68o10', in angaco, san juan, argentina. the descriptive approach, usually ignored, of the work as materiality, and from it's minimal operations make possible to think about it, and to extract aesthetic-formal categories and allow an ampliation of the rock art knowledge field, and of who produced it. the work spaciality will be viewed here at their emplacement as an architectural space, and time in the happen and last of the images
