VARIABILIDAD INTERLOCAL EN SECUENCIAS DE REDUCCIóN LíTICA: CONJUNTOS CORDILLERANOS DE CHILE CENTRALDOI: 10.4067/S0717-73562004000300010 Keywords: lithics reduction sequences, lithics debitage assemblages, technological analysis, metrics and non-metrics indicators, hunter-gatherers, andes, central chile. Abstract: by means of intensive technological analysis, systematic technological characterisations of lithic reduction sequences that operated in two hunters-gatherers settlements located in andean part of maipo basin (los queltehues and las morrenas 1) are presented. lithic debitage assemblages recovered by controlled excavation constitute the data from what i intent to establish technofunctional orientation of raw materials, and the technological moments of the reductive sequences in each location. different technological situations appear be structuring behaviour of the the lithics assemblages which are defined as generalised activity locations (gal) and specific activity locations (sal), depending upon the relative importance and intensity of certain technological moments within a hypothetical reductive sequence of raw materials
