A experiência na extens？o popular e a forma？？o acadêmica em fisioterapia

university extension activities are increasing within the academic sphere. however, different conceptions and ideologies guide these practices. physiotherapy undergraduate courses do not usually involve extension activities in a constant way, since the aspect of assistance prevails among them. this paper presents an extension physiotherapy project experience based on popular education, performed in a community in jo？o pessoa. the importance of this experience in physiotherapists training is highlighted, since it improved contacts with the social reality, the local first-level health services and the links to people and community organizations, based on dialogue and social responsibility.
