LISTADO DE DIATOMEAS (BACILLARIOPHYTA) REGISTRADAS PARA EL MAR CARIBE COLOMBIANO

we conducted a literature review of available information on the species of marine (bacillariophyta) diatoms reported for coastal and ocean colombian caribbean sea. we present a checklist of 337 taxa for 312 species, 19 varieties and seven forms, grouped into 54 families and 106 genera. the taxonomic classification was based on the system proposed by round et al. (1990).
