La Vegetación del Parque Provincial Aconcagua (Altos Andes centrales de Mendoza, Argentina)

information concerning the geology, geomorphology, climate and soils of this area is provided. from the phytogeographical viewpoint the vegetation under study lies within the andean-patagonic domain, namely in the altoandean province where three floristic districts corresponding to three altitudinal vegetation belts were recognized: low altoandean belt, medium altoandean belt with the occurrence of snow and high altoandean or glacial belt. in this work add it belt ultimate. a total of 39 plant communities were determined. vegetation belts are represented at a scale of 1:250,000.
