the vast amount of publications existing in the multiple scientific literature information sources and the lack of available time to consult them, have encouraged the authors of this paper to carry out a review of the scientific literature published in year 2010 regarding oral implantology. thus, we classified the articles into different topics (general aspects and treatment planning, special patients, surfaces and design, soft tissues, immediate implants, immediate loading, guided surgery and minimally invassive surgery and overdentures), so a more comprehensive updating can be made.
