El archivo positivista como dispositivo visual-verbal: Fotografía, feminidad anómala y fabulaciónKeywords: archive, positivism, photography, gender, gabulation. Abstract: we analyze in this paper the archive as visual and verbal device, in the contexts of a strongly hegemonic paradigm of the argentinean positivism of the beginning of the xx century. through the articles that francisco de veyga published, between 1902-1904 in the archivos de psiquiatría y criminología, about sexualities that are considered anomalous and the photographs that illustrate those cases, we explore some of the discursive and non-discursive operations that the archive, -as a psychic apparatus of the social body considered pathological- presents about gender, feminity, photography and the medical-psychiatrical classification. this last one is articulated from the binary axes normal/pathological, but it presents vital resistances in the biopolitical panoptic and in the repetition logic of the archive through fabulation and the other gaze.
