in the clinic the addictive object takes, several times and apparently, the form of the fetish object. however, its peculiarities show that there is a diference. the compulsive character leads to another logic, even though it shares a common place. the present paper has its main aim to establish which are the differences and singularities that can be found between the fetish and the object of consumption, focusing on the lust economy.
