Superación profesional en la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas No.1 de Santiago de Cuba

a cross-sectional and descriptive study was carried out at the posgraduate vice-deanship of medical college no 1 in santiago de cuba during the biennium 2007-2008, with the purpose of analyzing general characteristics of the professionals' training, thus quantifying in every period the number of activities by type and that of trained professionals. among the main results, there was predominance of course implementation in both years, particularly with regard to the activities offered and the trained professionals in 2007. most of courses were for the category of instructors and the number of registered professionals or master's graduates increased significantly.
