Los centros de investigación en Chiapas y sus revistas: 1985-2010

this paper reviews the justification and objectives in the founding of the centers of social science research settled in chiapas, in contrast to the emphasis on discipline, theme, location and scale of 956 articles published in 68 volumes of yearbooks and magazines published by such institutions between 1985 and 2010, as a first step a characterization of the local academic community.
