Tiempo y memoria. Representaciones de/desde lo femenino En una novela de Ana PizarroKeywords: gender studies, time, memory. Abstract: the article proposes an analysis of how the perspective offered by gender studies becomes a rigorous and coherent strategy to approach novels of feminine authors. this option is chosen since it allows and appreciation of the artistic-aesthetic value of discourse, as it provokes reflection upon social issues. in this sense, the novel la luna, el viento, el a?o, el día (the moon, the wind, the year, the day) (1994), of the chilean writer ana pizarro, has been selected because it evidences a complex textualization of time and memory as representation of concerns and questionings that underlie in the cultural imaginary. in order to theoretically support this study, an appeal has been made to statements by ricoeur (1995), kermode (1983), rivas (2004) and hintze (2007), among others. it is concluded that the procedures of narrative construction exhibited in the text account for the links between the feminine and the appraisal of memory as an instance that recuperates and elaborates temporality.
