El trabajo de las empleadas domésticas: entre lo doméstico (privado) y lo asalariado (público)

this article presents some considerations about domestic service.it is studied that this old job, in the actual context of unemployment and precarious working situations of underemployment, appears as an immediate working option for women whose families have become poorer. the changes, permanencies and breaking-offs that the definition of this way of working presents, will be analyzed starting from the representations and significations that they have, how they turn into their ways of living, their expectations and their projects.
