in recent years we have had the opportunity to know different theories that certify the ？death of art？ from different points of view. the question we would like to answer, paying attention to one of them, is whether these theories imply, at the same time, the loss of aesthetic autonomy. it is a crucial question because the issue of sovereignty is closely tied to the discipline since its birth, to the point that it is almost impossible to isolate the history of aesthetics from this redemptive narrative.
