Acción colectiva y prácticas políticas juveniles

this article is intended to inform the foundings regarding characteristics and analysis of the constitutive components and functioning of the non formal aggroupments of the city of valparaíso, recognizing the political contents (implicit and explicit) in the groupal actions of young men. this information is collected from the qualitative investigation carried out by the authors throughout year 2005. under an interpretative, analytical and reflexive reading the collected field information is analysed based on the conceptual mediacy proposed by morales gil de la torre in his analysis model for the collective action. this model considers the notion of action systems perfected with concepts of politics and juvenile participation. the constitutive and descriptive elements of the participation out from the traditional channels of the political participation of the young, are presented recognizing among their aggroupments, new ways of political participation and collective actions. this meant a complete review of the comprehensive frames from which the young and their different aggroupments are approached, allowing the recovery of dreams and challenges of the young people of valparaíso.
