the ethical knowledge is an essential aspect that allows the psychologists to develop his/her work in a competent way, mainly while working on psychotherapies to addicts. this article aims at explaining the general characteristics of the professional ethics in psychology, and at describing the different dilemmas that can appear during psychotherapies to addict people, when the necessary ethical principles are not known.
