Abstract:

the soaking effects were evaluated in normal water during 24 and 48 hours, at 90 oc during 2 and 4 minutes and chemical stratification with sulfuric acid during 2 and 1 minute on the germination of the seeds and emergency of the seedling of annona muricata. the seeds of the soursop plows characterized to have to longitude 14,5 mm; wide 5,4 mm, thickness 1,98 mm and to weight of 33,6 g 1002 seeds. the soaking in water for 24 hours and the witness (without soaking) they began the emergency simultaneously at the 17, 66 days, while the latest happened with the treatment of it soaked with sulfuric acid to the 19,33 days. the two soaking treatments in hot water to 90 oc were lethal for the seed since there was not germination. the emergency total average presented significant differences, varying its valued among 77,33% for the stratification treatment in sulfuric acid during 1 minute and the soaking of water of 24 hours, while the witness showed 70,66%. the seeds of the soursop reached from 70 to 77% of the total emergency in approximately 30 days, the t10 -t90 presented to variation among 25 to 32 days, for what is considered that these seeds don?t present the phenomenon of latency. the t50, it was located between the 23 and the 30 days according to the treatments. the germination and emergency was characterized along 6 sequential states. the germination was characterized to be epígeal and chriptocotilar, since the seminal covers rise together with the cotyledons to the moment of the emergency.
