the spinoza conatus category occupies a central place in the architectural discourse of practical philosophy of arturo andres roig. this is a preliminary basis of practical knowledge and moral figure that offers originating explanation, as the conatus concerns a primary dimension of entities. its theoretical status is not reduced only to recognizing anthropological aspect among others, but acquires a backbone in the set of strategies to substantiate the idea of "emerging moral" given by our philosopher. we believe that the ontological status is an instance of conatus determinant of ethical and political layout of arturo roig. spinoza said turning so clearly, however, is not taken sufficiently into account in some specialized readings in argentina. accordingly, we intend first to highlight the constructive role that spinoza has in the mind of the teacher, keeping to a treatment of texts in which the conceptual force becomes more visible, without excluding certain other treatments. this will allows us , in a second level historiographical analysis, to revalue the reception of spinoza in the writings of arturo roig.
