Representaciones sociales y construcción de proyectos e identitaria de jóvenes escolarizados

since its inception, helping young people confront social problems has been a prime goal in vocational psychology. over time guidance practices narrowed their scope to concentrate on fitting young people into occupations and interventions for favored sectors. in the late 20th century new theoretical models appeared in response to population needs arising from a globalized economy and job market. the theory of social representations has opened the way for research into how young people see and construct projects for their future. by means of life experiences in different social spaces, they develop representations regarding the world, other people and themselves. the absence of social projects and support makes constructing life projects difficult for many of them at the present time. the results of research on social representations carried out among youngsters in high schools is included, that play a role in the intentions and projects for the future that young people construct, along with their identity and trajectories.
