Vínculos de los Clientes oncológicos y familiares: una dimensión para ser observada

aims: to ascertain the bonds that the oncologic clients and their relatives establish when living with cancer. methodology: a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive research. eighteen clients in radiotherapy treatment and two relatives participated in the research. the semi-structured interview was used, with the elaboration of genogram and ecomap. results: in the speech of the subjects, two thematic nuclei emerged: strengthened bonds and bonds broken by the disease and treatment. conclusions: the results contributed to considerations on nursing care inthe radiothreapytreatment of cancer, and in collaboration with possible changes in the nurse in care oncology close to these clients.
