Abstract: teleologically, the hermeneutics has experimented variations through history. nowadays, it constitutes a well-known art in the processes of qualitative research based on the interpretative paradigm. in our case, it is considered as an epistemic-methodological perspective, emphasizing on its versatility, giving a possibility to interpret and comprehend reality in its several manifestations. this work had as a purpose to characterize hermeneutics through an epistemological route in which, in different opportunities, allows to watch its multiple fi elds of application, resulting in a refl ection on the educational ground.
