El discurso pedagógico de académicos universitarios: un análisis de sus creencias respecto al proceso de ense?anza-aprendizaje en la universidad

Abstract:

this article presents the results of the project ?the system of beliefs and pedagogical practices of the university professor and its implications in the teaching learning process?. its goal consists of showing the beliefs of academics without pedagogical training of two chilean universities which belong to the deans? council. for this study, a semi-structured interview to 30 academics coming from areas such as social sciences, environmental sciences, biology, engineering, social work and journalism was used as an instrument. the results have been presented in three categories which refer to the didactic changes in the teaching-learning process: teacher, dissent and contents. the conclusions indicate that the university academics, despite not having pedagogical training maintain, at a discursive level, pedagogical beliefs that can be driven into quality teaching practices.
