Propagación de la excelencia académica como valor a través de la ense?anza de la matemática

Abstract:

this research consisted of the application of the program social propagation of excellence in a bolivarian high school. it had as a purpose to use the aforementioned program in order to propagate the excellence in the learning of mathematics among the students with low yields. this work was done with the collaboration of model students with academic success in order to develop the student excellence as a value. the proposal of didactic material: ?how fast i learn math!? was applied to fourth year high school students with low yields in the area, with the assessment of students-teaching assistants from the program meeting with the academic excellence. this feasible project, supported in a fieldwork, of the descriptive kind, was done in several phases: diagnostic, design and elaboration of the proposal and validation and evaluation of the didactic material. the conclusions show that its implementation was profitable for the modeling of successful behaviors, the achievement of mathematical learning and the development of values such as: responsibility, solidarity, respect and self-compromise with the goals settled.
