Racionalidad moral y justicia social de las instituciones políticasKeywords: rationality, morality, institution, emancipating justice. Abstract: this article analyzes some basic aspects of the emancipatory process that should arise in contemporary society, from the viewpoint of the public morality and social justice of its political institutions. it opposes the instrumental rationality of modern positive law, the principles and moral reasons of politics according to the communicative, discursive and inter-subjective approach of habermas. the result is interesting: it is not possible to exercise politics without morality; moreover, justice cannot be achieved without a shared liberating project. from this perspective, the study seeks to interpret the sense of social integration that the communicative pragmatic, dialogue and the public space fulfill in the reconstruction of socio-political institutions. morality and justice are two applications that ought to configure the political face of the state, and the projects demanded by the citizenry to broaden participative democracy propose an examination of the crisis of the modern state.
