gunshot wounds have become a very important cause of morbidity and mortality in our society, and pregnant patients have not been the exception. in this paper, a case of an abdominal gunshot wound in a pregnant patient is presented. the proper management of the mother and of the fetus is discussed, with special interest over the indications of laparotomy and emergency c-section. finally, a management protocol is proposed based on the literature.
