this work presents the results of a comparative analysis between two field records of two ceremonies observed in schools of the police of the province of buenos aires during the school cycle 2008-2009. following the comparative offer of fredrik barth, the construction of pertinent dimensions of variation for the proposed cases and the correlation of the same ones, they allow to demonstrate institutional dynamics executed for the construction of the police subjects so much as the dispute among the agents for imposing certain police subjectivity. reached to understand to these schools, in its complexity, as spaces crossed by conflicts and divisions, on the base of a common matrix that is used as value when the circumstances require it.
