Análisis de libros de cálculo en carreras de ingeniería: Su relación con los cambios sociopolíticos en Argentina

this paper intends to relate textbooks features with social and political aspects in different historical periods. we have analyzed calculus textbooks which have been used for engineering careers at facultad de ciencias exactas, ingeniería y agrimensura (universidad nacional de rosario, argentina) considering didactical and epistemological dimensions. we have classified the books taking into account the importance that authors assign to possible applications. besides we have considered historical issues that had influenced the educational field in our country. finally, we have pointed out the relationship between books selection and political situation in each period.
