Resolución de juegos cotidianos con árboles de decisión: aportaciones de una experiencia con alumnos de secundaria

Abstract:

some well known and popular strategy games are used to encourage the development of strategic thinking of students in secondary school. tree diagram shows all possibilities for players involved in those games. this representation allows the study of all possible contingencies and it is a technique to choose the best possible strategy. it can be used as an aid to analyze human behaviour in situations of conflict of interest in everyday life. the study results, taking into account cognitive process components in problem solving, show that students are able to map the trees of the proposed games and have some difficulties in allocating payments to players. best results were observed among students in higher level.
