Estudio ficológico del litoral rocoso de isla larga, Parque Nacional san Esteban, Estado Carabobo, Venezuela

a phycological study was conducted at a rocky shore of isla larga, parque nacional san esteban, carabobo state, venezuela. bimonthly collections were carried out for a period 10 months. 31 algal species were reported, nine chlorophyta, five ochrophyta and 16 rhodophyta; additionally, one cyanobacteria was reported. there was a total of 11 new reports for carabobo state. a taxonomic list is presented and only new reports for the state are described.
