Abstract:

with the objective of improving the application of the nursing care process by the students, a preliminary study was conducted with fifth-year medical students, professors, heads of hospital wards and/or family physician′s offices in 1996-97 school year. this study will make it possible to set the theoretical and methodological fundamentals in the teaching-educational process of the nursing specialty regarding the standardization of diagnosed categories (taxonomy), which will facilitate the implementation of this process and its stages; as well as the methodological orientations for its control. this process was implemented for a six-month period on the basis of the set theoretical fundamentals; several instruments were used (surveys, interviews, observations of the staff with which we started the research study) to prove the feasibility of the implementation of the nursing care process starting from the new guidelines. this paper contributed methodological and teaching fundamentals for the carrying out of the nursing care process by specifying taxonomies, patterns and indicators, stages and methodological guidelines for the teaching work. their practical application showed their contribution to the quality of the implementation of the process and to the formation of the future bachelor of nursing.
