Desafios da humaniza？？o no contexto do cuidado da enfermagem pediátrica de média e alta complexidade

this paper analyzes situations and contexts that favor or cause difficulties in relationships of welcoming and autonomy, including moments and contexts in which participation and co-responsibility are expressed in relationships between nursing and users and their accompaniers. a qualitative approach was used, with an ethnographic perspective and a three-month observation period. the study location was the pediatrics ward of a referral institute for women's, children's and adolescents' healthcare, and the subjects were the nursing staff, users and accompaniers. the results indicated that the welcome was the initial point that was most observed, thus showing that this was a central element of the discussion. the levels of autonomy, participation and co-responsibility correlated with the duration of hospitalization, thus allowing relationships to be established with professionals and knowledge about care to be acquired. it was concluded that there are comprehension gaps in the humanization project for this service, involving management and care.
