La idea de una voluntad legisladora universal como constitución de la objetividadKeywords: kant?s categorical imperative, rational discussion, rational understandings. Abstract: my aim is to explain the third formula of kant?s categorical imperative, which holds that every rational being must judge as a universal legislative will, not simply as a pretention to judge for others, but particularly and above all as an exhortation to take seriously and integrate in the argumentation one?s particular ways of seeing facts present them in the discussion. only if we have the capacity to reflect with autonomy about our thought processes (and therefore, to distinguish what is irreducible to a mutual understanding because it belongs to our very personal experience of beliefs that we share as speakers), can we begin to find the way to a genuine consensus.
