La interacción entre los aspectos normativos y descriptivos en el estudio del razonamiento: El caso de la tarea de selección de WasonKeywords: rationality, selection task, deductive reasoning. Abstract: the study of reasoning has to distinguish the normative matters from the descriptive matters. however, both aspects have to be taken into account, in their complex reciprocal links. this paper aims at showing that, taking as illustration the study of conditional reasoning through wason?s selection task. after presenting the main empirical results that have to be explained, which are usually taken as challenges to human rationality understood in terms of a formal model of reasoning, the different theoretical proposals are introduced, showing their, usually implicit, normative commitments, and discussed in terms of their global support. the bottom line is that it is doubtful to consider deductive reasoning as a genuine cognitive domain.
