Validez y facticidad del juicio político: una perspectiva sui generisKeywords: political philosophy, faculty of judgment, arendt. Abstract: one of hannah arendt outstanding ideas was the issue of how to reconcile with a world in which the phenomenon of totalitarianism has destroyed our traditional categories of moral thinking and judgment. she believes that the comprehension crisis brought about by this phenomenon is not only crucial for political theories but it also affects every human being in his/her deliberation as a member of a community. the purpose of this article is to show how arendt reivindicates the validity of political judgment based on a neo-aristotelian interpretation of kant?s critics of the faculty of judgment. i argue that this peculiar approach to kant gave arendt some basic heuristic tools to illustrate the singularity and plurality which identify human actions. arendt thinks that the ?judgment of taste? is an example of how representative thought can determine the factivity of political judgment. why did arendt consider the aesthetic judgment as the most adequate approach to explain the ?essentially political qualities of politics?? this will be one of the questions to be elucidated in this essay.
